Objectives
As a result of attending this session, participants will be able to:
- Understand the role of the family physician in diagnosing asthma and ordering appropriate testing
- Understand what the guidelines recommend for treatment of asthma
- We will discuss how effective asthma treatment involves assessment of the patient’s environment, and involves reviewing the patient’s inhaler technique and their adherence to treatment
