Overview
This lecture will review the presentation, diagnosis, and treatment of the common abdominal wall hernias in children, focusing on clinical diagnoses and appropriate surgical referral.
Objectives
As a result of attending this session, participants will be able to:
- Diagnose common abdominal wall hernia in children
- Differentiate inguinal hernias from hydroceles
- Appropriately refer patients who require surgical management.
